Setting up equipment
Members of the Group preparing acoustic equipment to aid monitoring flying bats as the evening light fades and the bats are about to emerge.

Members of the Group investigate promising sites for bat roosts during the winter to identify where the local bats hibernate.

Members of the group are instructed in microscopic examination of bat droppings to study the diet of the animals.
