Meetings
- Early July, Bat detector Training.
It may be possible to arrange an introductory training session on using bat detectors, if enough people are interested. This is likely to be at Scottish churches House in Dunblane.

There may be opportunities for hand netting and handling bats near Dunblane on 29th July. Please contact Anne Youngman ayoungman@bats.org.uk to register an interest.
Please note gloves are essential and midge hoods advised. If you want to handle bats you must wear gloves and have up to date rabies vaccinations. For hand netting gloves are sufficient. - July/August. Car Bat Surveys. CSBG is taking part in again this summer.

Anne Y will lead a Bat Walk on Saturday 28th August in Dunblane, but needs helpers. Are there any volunteers? (contact Anne at ayoungman@bats.org.uk),
Your job will be to answer questions from the public, make sure no one gets lost/ falls in the river and help collect up detectors at the end of the walk. Fabulous lumi-jackets provided. - 25th September, Bat Box Checks.
Opportunity to assist with bat box checks with the Forestry Commission at Queen Elizabeth Forest Park, Aberfoyle. A chance to see Pipistrelle bat species at close quarters as they are ringed and undergo various measurements.
